Evette Hooper is a dedicated trial attorney who was raised on the east side of Houston, Texas. Evette graduated from North Shore High School in the top 3% of her class and went on to obtain her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Texas A&M University with a focus in Neuroscience. Following undergrad, Evette attended Texas Tech University School of Law where she obtained her juris doctorate. Evette became licensed to practice law in the State of Texas in 2015.
Evette has been a full time personal injury trial attorney since 2016 representing injured people against large trucking companies and insurance companies. Throughout her career, Evette has consistently obtained 6 and 7 figure settlements for her injured clients and favorable jury verdicts in courts across Texas.
Evette fights for fair rights for clients in and out of the courtroom. Evette is a member of the American Academy of Truck Accident Attorneys, Houston Trial Lawyers Association, and Texas Trial Lawyers Association. These organizations are dedicated to preserving our 7th Amendment right to trial by jury and to making our highways safer.
Evette is consistently fine tuning her trial skills. Evette is a graduate of HTLA’s Trial Advocacy College of Texas and ATAA’s New Trucking Lawyer Division Bootcamp. Evette has been named a Super Lawyers Rising Star every year since 2023. This distinction is only awarded to 2.5% of attorneys across Texas. Evette is determined to make a difference in how large companies approach the safety of their employees and patrons by zealously advocating for her clients one case at a time.
